| Mission Opportunities | ||||

Mission Trip We have been actively supporting the hurricane recovery efforts in Louisiana. So far, four adult teams and one youth team (totaling nearly 100 volunteers), have travelled to Louisiana to bring supplies and help with rebuilding. The next mission trip will be in June, 2007. Everyone is welcome to join in this rewarding experience. You will work hard, eat well, get a break from the cold weather, and know that you have served God through service to your fellow man. Please post here if you are interested in joining this team, or if you would like to help with this mission in any way. |

Youth Mission Trip In June 2006 42 youth and adult leaders travelled to Slidell, Louisiana and worked hard at rebuilding homes which were destroyed by hurricane Katrina. In June, 2007, 63 youth and adult leaders are planning to travel to New Orleans and help with rebuilding in the devastated 9th Ward area. They will leave June 16th and return June 24th, 2007. | Children's Ministries | ||||

Sprouts (3rd-6th grade) We meet on Wednesdays from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Children learn about justice issues, mission work, scripture reading and journaling. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to learn to put into practice all the stories that they have learned in Sunday School. If you love kids, love your Lord and want to help kids learn to love Him too, please leave your post here. |

Pioneer Club - Voyagers (1st and 2nd grade) We meet Wednesdays from 5:45 - 7:00 p.m. We sing songs, learn Bible stories, play games, make crafts and have lots of fun! Helpers are needed and you may volunteer just one time, once each month, every week, or any time that fits into your schedule. Please post here if you would like to volunteer. |

9:30 Sunday School Classroom helpers are needed to assist children while they learn of Jesus' love from 9:30 - 10:30 Sunday mornings. You can volunteer as much or as little as you like - substitutes are needed too! |

11:00 Cornerstone Cornerstone is a unique Sunday school format which allows tremendous flexibility in teaching schedules. Teach once a year, teach every other month, weekly, whatever level you can commit to - we will work with you. The curriculum is a blast and the kids really respond to the lessons! Lessons may include cooking, music, art, puppets, drama, storytelling, games – you decide! And if you have a special talent you’d like to share, we’ll work it in! Shepherds are always needed and have the task of getting to know the kids and guiding them on their spiritual journey. You won’t be preparing lessons, only staying connected to share God’s love with your students. |

Monday UMYF Every Monday from 6:15 - 8:00 p.m., youth gather in the sanctuary to worship and praise God. Then they work on youth activities and events. Volunteers are needed to help supervise and plan activities. |

Mystery Nights The first Monday of each month is Mystery Night. Youth are invited to join in a mystery activity and learn something new while growing their friendships. The response to this new ministry has been tremendous and Danice Craney, Coordinator, is looking for more help, please post here if you would like more information. The monthly activities will not be revealed on this site, Danice will contact you via phone or email. |

Special Events We often travel with the youth to events and activities. We must have 2 adults with any group of youth, at all times. Therefore volunteers are needed, especially for transportation supervision. Please post here if you would be willing to accompany youth on an event (you don't need to provide the transportation, just ride along). |
