Jesus said, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.  All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:37-40) We believe you cannot love God without loving people because God will never be able to transform you in the way God wants to, if you are not part of a community. Christianity is a communal and relational faith. The wonder of Christian Community is that it is a place where people know and love each other enough to speak truth into our lives. We believe no one can follow Jesus in isolation, therefore, as a church we want to invite every follower of Jesus into life-changing, transformational relationships.
In this class we will begin to explore what it means to “Love Others.”  We will explore what it means to live out our faith in everyday life.  We’ll take a look at what Christian community means to our faith journey and to our church.
We will learn why community and accountability are important to our journey, how to invite others to join us in our faith and witness to our faith journey, and we will write our faith story.
